DEADLINE for Membership Applications and Advertising Opportunities is September 30th. New members with applications received by September 30th will be included in the Membership Brochure and Tide Book for the following year. Membership Applications received after September 30th th will still be added to the website but all other advertising opportunities will be available only as space allows.
Membership Types
Full Member: For businesses located in the Homer Area.
- Voting rights on Homer Marine Trades Association business issues
- Listing on Website
- Listing in Homer Marine Trades brochure and yearly tide books (Distributed locally and at Pacific Marine Expo in Seattle)
- Monthly Newsletter with email updates
- Marketing opportunities at Pacific Marine Expo, the Anchorage Boat Show, and in local, state-wide, and national publications. This year’s advertising: KBBI, Homer News, WorkBoat Magazine, Pacific Fishing.
Associate member: For businesses located outside the Homer Area providing services to our community
- Non-voting member
- All other benefits as listed above under Full Member
Industry Support member: For individuals and businesses within the Homer area who support the marine trades industry but otherwise have no need for advertising through the association.
- Voting rights on Homer Marine Trades Association business issues
- Membership fee is earmarked especially for the scholarship program and any other vocational training programs sponsored by HMTA
