About HMTA

HMTA promotes the marine trade industry and activities in the Greater Kachemak Bay area through cooperative advertising, workforce development and collective support for industry expansion projects.

The association strives to provide opportunities for cooperative advertising various mediums including magazine and other print options, tradeshow presence, website, social media and radio spots.

We believe the workforce development is essential the growth and health of our industry and support development by providing financial support and professional instructors for a variety of courses and certifications through the local high school and college.

In addition, we work to raise awareness and support various expansion projects such as the Homer Harbor Expansion which will be beneficial to Homer’s economic growth.
